Repertoire

"an artist's eye, a musician's ear, and a poet's feeling."
–The Tulsa World

The photochoreography of James Westwater offers a diverse blend of subjects, moods and music to suit your orchestra’s programming needs.

Each piece typically contains hundreds of images and is choreographed to existing works of classical music.

The images on this page are a small sampling from several photochoreography pieces.

Additional works may be available for performance. New works may also be in production.

Commissions for new pieces are welcome. Orchestras and other organizations can engage James Westwater to develop new pieces on local, regional and cultural themes, among others. Photography supplied from outside sources may also be suitable. For more commissioning ideas, visit the Themes page.

New pieces can also connect orchestras directly with their communities by utilizing local photo submissions from individuals and organizations. For more information, please visit the Community Involvement page.
